Red, Yellow, Blue: the Primary Colors were used throughout our paintings to create Primrose, Batchelor Button and Black-Eyed Susan Vine along with 3 critters.  The common denominator color was red: At the very end of our paintings, Red was lightly washed over the sky and foliage to both warm-up the paintings and to create some continuity among the three paintings. Thank you for a fun class. (Sorry to Barb who couldn’t join us for the second class.)

Beginner OIL Class: October 2009

Our second session of Good Ole’ Summertime was as successful as the first! Wonderful cloudy skies and antiquated barns were painted by all; and it was a joy for me to watch the progress of each painting. Congratulations to all of you. Looking forward to the next “Steve” class.

What an enjoyable, relaxing and creative classtime we had. The patterns were all the same, but most gals either chose different colors or came up with different designs to put within the 4-stars.  What fun it is to let loose and ‘do our own thing’ once in awhile. Thank you!!
