Advanced Class: December 2008
This second group had great inspiration for finishing off the sides of the slate… The plaiding on one slate was painted/woven very carefully to look just like fabric. On the other paintings, we changed the painting to have shutters on either side of the painting - they turned out beautifully. This is one of the best painting classes of the season thanks to the imaginations of the students! (So sorry to the gals who couldn’t make it to the second class!)

Advanced Class: December 2008
Our taverns boards came alive with Santa’s smiling face…. Everyone worked very hard to make his eyes just right and they were all just wonderful! Just look how proud everyone is - and rightly so! (Sorry to the gals who couldn’t join us for the photo.)

Brass, Bronze and Silver Bells along with Red Ribbon were painted on a wood-grain background. After the painting was done, we added real bells to our plaque. They look Great!

Intermediate/Advanced Class: November 2008
Two class sessions were well worth the effort put forth to create these lovely paintings. Please note that Kazamir (one of the three studio kitties) was determined to be part of the photo and thanks to Kathy, he succeeded.

One of my favorite classes of the year…. easy techniques used to create a most pleasing work of art. Sorry to those who were not able to attend.
