Intermediate Class - April 2008
Folk Art Rose Bowl Class
This was a fun class for everyone! We all enjoyed creating a design around the bowl first using a “Wash and Lift” method - Very easy, yet looks great! I believe everyone had an easy time creating the Folk Art style flowers and were very pleased with their final painting. They all looked just wonderful! Now the bowls just need filled with snacks, flowers, towels or whatever. It’s a great little piece!

Primrose Garden Tray
Everyone can take a lot of pride in their painting of this warm still-life. The book titles and little sticky note in the corner were all individually personalized… It was great fun to see the diversity.

Moon Flower Vase
Floating paint creates a lovely, transparent delicacy to the Moon Flower we painted in this class. The gals found it was easy to paint Lace or Pebbles in a fairly quick manner. Welcome back to Fran!

Fuschia Flower Power
What a fun class this was for all; and it was so nice to have so many new faces in the studio including Joan, art teacher in Chicora, and Bill, self-taught artist of landscape and wildlife. Hope to see you all again soon!
