Cardinals in the Lamplight - Second Group

Second Class Group - Cardinals in the Lamplight

~ Cardinals in the Lamplight ~
Advanced Class: December 2008

This second group had great inspiration for finishing off the sides of the slate… The plaiding on one slate was painted/woven very carefully to look just like fabric. On the other paintings, we changed the painting to have shutters on either side of the painting - they turned out beautifully. This is one of the best painting classes of the season thanks to the imaginations of the students! (So sorry to the gals who couldn’t make it to the second class!)

Cardinals in the Lamplight (on Slate)

Large 10″T x 20″W Slate with 2 Cardinals in a winter setting of pine and snow along with a glowing brass lamp post light and greetings sign. Shutters with handles are painted along each side of the slate as if peering through a window. ….A warm Welcome plaque. (Wire can be added for hanging, if desired.)

COST: $60

Advanced Class: December 2008

Our taverns boards came alive with Santa’s smiling face…. Everyone worked very hard to make his eyes just right and they were all just wonderful! Just look how proud everyone is - and rightly so! (Sorry to the gals who couldn’t join us for the photo.)

Jingle Bells Class

~ Jingle Bells ~
Intermediate Class: November 2008

Brass, Bronze and Silver Bells along with Red Ribbon were painted on a wood-grain background. After the painting was done, we added real bells to our plaque. They look Great!
