~ Jingle Bells ~
Intermediate Class: November 2008
Brass, Bronze and Silver Bells along with Red Ribbon were painted on a wood-grain background. After the painting was done, we added real bells to our plaque. They look Great!

Guest Instructor - Steve Lubanovic
Steve Lubanovic is a self-taught artist. He has been drawing since childhood and attended the Tam O’Shanter art classes at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA during grade school. Later, he worked at a silk-screen sportswear and graphic arts company as an artist and printer, and also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He continues to be sought out to create artistic designs for sportswear for various establishments in the Pittsburgh area. Steve has also designed a line of computer furniture for Haskell of Pittsburgh Inc., and is currently a foreman at PennDOT. Steve started painting using the ‘wet-on-wet’ technique in 1994 and does commissioned artwork on a variety of media including slate, saw blades and canvas. In 2008, Steve began teaching the ‘wet-on-wet’ technique at Marcia Brown’s MorningGloryArt art studio in Butler, Pennsylvania.

~ Cardinals in the Lamplight ~
Intermediate/Advanced Class: November 2008
Two class sessions were well worth the effort put forth to create these lovely paintings. Please note that Kazamir (one of the three studio kitties) was determined to be part of the photo and thanks to Kathy, he succeeded.
