~ Serenity Falls Class ~
Intermediate Oil Landscape: April 2010
The Serenity Falls Oil Landscape class was enjoyed by all, particularly by myself. Hopefully, everyone learned at least one new method or technique and hopefully, everyone enjoyed a studious, yet relaxing time - and that’s what participating in classes is all about (at least for me - even dropping one’s palette upside down on the floor just isn’t a big deal). Looking forward to seeing you again for another class. Kudos to everyone for doing a very nice painting.

~ Cottage Daffodils Class ~
Intermediate Class: April 2010
As you can see, the class was beautifully successful in recreating the Daffodils in the Antique Tin which was resting on a Lacey Cloth with a Narcissus laying close by; and by the smiles on their faces, I believe everyone was happy with their slate paintings - and well they should be! One of the gals painted on a masonite panel which will be framed - which shows the versatility of decorative painting… It’s not just created on one surface and perhaps someone will paint this cottage still life again using the antique tin planted with some other flowers to use as a pair. (Sorry to Karen who couldn’t join us for the second class.)

~ Euro-Cottages Class ~
Advanced/Intermediate Class: April 2010
This was definitely an experience for these mostly advanced painters as much of the painting was done at a rather quick pace. Even so, every Italian, French and English country-side clay pot with their chickens, kitties, french pie crust pottery, hollyhocks, etc looked absolutely delightful. At the request of the students, we stayed an extra hour to finish up - Now we just need to add flowers or plants! Sorry to the two gals that couldn’t join us.

~ Winter Chill ~
Beginner Watercolor Class: March 2010
Our Guest Instructor, Elaine Walker, led her watercolor class to a beautifully painted winter scene complete with a charming cabin surrounded by a wintry scape of snowy hills and trees under a cloudy sky. Mattes were provided in the student’s choice of color to complement their painting. A fun time was had by all - Thank you, Elaine!
