BRUSHES You Need to Bring to Class: Basecoating Brush, 5/8” Angle, ½” Angle, Stippler, Small Liner. (Opt. Filbert #4 or Round)

(Acrylic) 18”x12” Slate with cord. (or 11×14 Masonite panel that you frame)Daffodils planted in a charming antique galvanized tin with rolled wooden handles will be painted. A lace cloth, if desired, will be painted under the tin vessel. This lovely painting will feel comfortable in any room of your home or the home of someone you gift. One of my favorites this season!

(Acrylic) Three Clay pots - 10”, 8”, 6” – prepared bright Green, Golden and Periwinkle clay pots will be dressed as Tuscan, Provence and English country cottages. This Interm/Adv class includes instruction to paint the roof, door, windows and greenery at the front of the pot; the remainder of the classes will be for whatever embellishments each painter would like to add around the pot ie, chickens, kitty, pottery, umbrella table, fountain, etc. These lovely cottage vessels will brighten your home or garden whether planted with flowers, herbs or greenery. They can also be used as storage vessels for utensils, tea towels, trash, etc. and make excellent gifts.

Beginner Watercolor by Guest Artist: Elaine Walker
ITEMS / BRUSHES You must bring to Class: A Firm Board to Tape your Watercolor Paper to Plus a 1″ Wash (or ¾”); #4 Round (or #6); 3/8” or ½” Flat or Angle; good Liner AND 1 old brush (#1or#2) for putting on Mastic (Elaine especially likes brushes of the Loew-Cornell #7300C series, but not necessary.) and Paper Towels.
COST: $28
(Watercolor) 8”x12” watercolor paper with a matte to make an 11”x14” finished painting that you may frame. Paints, surface, instructions and photo of the painting will be included in this beginner class. Elaine will give basic instructions and hints to paint this warm winter scene - It’s always a fun learning time with Elaine!
