Acrylic Intermediate Class: May 2009
Some painted large slates and some painted a replacement board for their serving trays. Creating a far-away look for the background was our goal; and it worked out quite well by softening the countryside and boldy painting the wine bottle, grapes and shutters. All we needed was the wine!! Well not really, but thanks to Barb who tried anyway!

Here’s another collection of student photos from the recent Moonlight Over the Mountains class instructed by Guest Artist Steve Lubanovic. These photos are from the 2nd class held on May 4 and 6, 2009. Students are carefully applying the techniques they’ve learned. Please note the top photo of Bill . . . Lots of smiles for an enjoyable class with instructor, Steve Lubanovic. The paintings, albeit diverse, were all beautifully done under Steve’s tutelage.

Beginner Oil Class: April 2009
Even though it was wonderfully warm outside, the paintings by this group show a serene moon shining on the cold winter’s landscape below. Everyone’s paintings were remarkably different, yet all were beautiful. A big thanks to our instructor, Steve Lubanovic.
